What is Architectural Acoustics?

Acoustics, the science of sound, ultrasound, and infrasound, was developed from our need to aid our senses.

It is no surprise that people progresses their studies in this field because hearing is a crucial means of survival for a human being. Not only is acoustics important in terms of survival, it is also emphasized in our arts.

Architectural acoustics is the science of noise control within buildings. It was first applied to construct opera houses and now, architectural acoustics is applied almost everywhere from school auditoriums to symphony halls.
